Welcome to Rental Hub ("we," "our," "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application.


We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the "Effective Date" of this Privacy Policy.

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the App depends on the content and materials you use, and includes:

*   **Account Information:** Your chosen role ("Landlord" or "Tenant") and encrypted password.


This information is necessary for the creation and security of your account.


**b. User-Generated Content**


As a core function of the App, we collect data that you voluntarily provide:


*   **For Landlords:** Property details you submit when creating a listing, including property name, location (city, town), rental amount, description, and any images you upload.

*   **For Tenants:** A list of properties you have marked as "favorites" (this feature is planned for a future update).


**c. Automatically Collected Information**


We do not currently collect information automatically, such as mobile device information or usage data.


**3. Use of Your Information**


Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we use information collected about you via the App to:


*   Create and manage your account.

*   Provide the core service of the App:

    *   Display property listings created by Landlords to Tenants.

    *   Connect your user profile to the listings you create (as a Landlord).

*   Operate and maintain the App.

*   Notify you about changes to our Service.


**4. Disclosure of Your Information**


We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personally identifiable information with third parties for their commercial purposes. We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations. Your information may be disclosed as follows:


*   **Publicly Visible Information:** Information you create as a Landlord for a property listing (such as the property photos, description, and location) is intended to be public and will be visible to all users of the App. Your personal name and direct contact information are **not** publicly displayed on a listing. Communication will be handled within the app (once the chat feature is implemented).

*   **By Law or to Protect Rights:** If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation.


**5. Security of Your Information**


We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. We utilize Google's Firebase platform, which provides industry-standard security for data storage and authentication. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.


**6. Data Retention**


We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Property listing data will be retained as long as the Landlord's account is active or until the Landlord deletes the listing.


**7. Your Data Rights**


You have the right to access, update, or delete the information we have on you.


*   You can manage your property listings (including updating and deleting them) directly within the App if you are a Landlord.

*   To request the deletion of your entire account and associated personal data, please contact us using the contact information provided below.


**8. Policy for Children**


We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
